The Advanced Group is a market leader in the provision of commercial cleaning, temporary fencing, site security, environmental services, landscaping, and trolley collection for a wide range of companies both big and small throughout Australia.

Our company was established more than three decades ago and began with two divisions:  commercial cleaning and trolley services. Since then, we have continuously expanded our scope of services to now include temporary fencing for both the construction and events industries, environmental services which provide specialist solutions to the civil construction, mining and gas sectors, as well as landscaping and site security.

EDWARD KLIMOWICZ, MANAGING DIRECTOR

Edward Klimowicz is the Founder and Managing Director of The Advanced Group. Since the company’s inception, Edward has applied over 30 years of business knowledge and experience in leading The Advanced Group to what it is today.

As a member of the Institute of Company Directors, Ed has a passion and drive to improve and develop The Advanced Group in being one of Australia’s leading providers in the Service, Construction, Communications and Civil Works industries.

IAN MILLER, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Ian Miller has been the Chief Operating Officer at The Advanced Group since 2006. With over 33 years of experience in senior management positions in large international organisations, Ian has a strong drive in ensuring the continued success of The Advanced Group and its divisions. As an active Chamber of Commerce member, Ian has a passion for business development in the community. Ian holds qualifications in Personnel Management.

NATHAN PUTLAND, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Nathan Putland has been the Chief Financial Officer at The Advanced Group since 2005. With a strong background in tax, Nathan has assisted with the continued growth and development of the organisation, with the addition of three new divisions since his appointment. Bringing over 15 years’ experience in financial reporting to the company, Nathan holds tertiary qualifications in Business, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

MITCH BRUGER, GROUP MARKETING DIRECTOR

Mitch Burger joined the Advanced Group in 2004 and has recently transitioned to be our Group Marketing Director. Over the years Mitch assisted with the expansion of the group to include the Environmental Services Division. Business development is a forte of his and evidenced by the growth of new business units. Innovations such as the IF plough and our smartphone app SiteMate exist as a result of Mitch’s entrepreneurial spirit. Similarly, with over 25 years’ experience in sales management/BD, he has grown with Advanced and our client’s needs. Mitch holds a range of professional memberships with the HIA (Housing Industry Association), Master Builders Association, Australian Institute of Company Directors and CCF (Civil Contractors Federation) in Qld and Victoria. Furthermore, as a founding member of CCF Victoria’s new facility, Mitch is a strong supporter of the civil contracting industry in Victoria and Qld.
