Large scale Events not a problem for Advanced Temporary Fencing

Mitch Bruger • May 18, 2016

Events can pose problems to event organizers and government bodies. With all the regulations and legalities that need to be covered off, having the best team available for your event is paramount to its success. Especially when the sheer scale of an event may interrupt usual traffic or access to public areas such as major roads and CBD’s.

Our Temporary Fencing Team at The Advanced Group is well accustomed to what it takes for events of this scale to come off without a hitch. In 2012, the Advanced Group temporary fencing division installed over 12 kilometres of temporary mesh fencing and crowd control barriers in Brisbane and the Gold Coast for the G20 Summit. Not only was the safety of the public an important factor – but also the safety of our World Leaders who attended the week-long event.

The setup and dismantling time frames were very tight with a requirement to have all fencing removed within 16 hours. At the end of the summit, the ‘orange army’ of Advanced Temporary Fencing employees, dismantled the extensive network in less than 6 hours! To successfully complete, this required careful planning management and execution, but also dedication from our front line staff.

Strange times indeed are upon us and the need for better hygiene has never been more evident than it is today. Cleaning traditionally was viewed as a mundane routine and ongoing service, which was usually only ever noticed when it was not done properly. Advanced Cleaning, like many other commercial cleaning service providers, have been providing a range of quality cleaning services throughout Australia. Since the Covid19 pandemic emerged around the globe, we have seen some considerable changes to how critical it is to maintain consistent hygiene overall. Commercial premises and the additional risks associated with higher levels of human movement traffic are most at risk of communal spread of the virus.
